No idea I’m afraid as I’ve never owned one. I’ve only ever had db final salary pensions which I never declared until I started receiving income, and I simply file substitute 1099-Rs with my tax...

unlike an ISA I believe that pension schemes such as SIPPs and employer pension DC schemes are recognized as such by the IRS and only withdrawals are taxed.

I am not thinking of pensions specifically here, I am thinking of total compensation and the fact that the employer gives the employee wages plus contributions to his pension. Those contributions may...

I have not been your situation before but from what I gather from forums such as this is that your pension as you describe is NOT a foreign grantor trust.

Also I don't believe you should be...
