OK.. so then you would have known about it. My point was that I do not see how a US employer would directly obtain a UK criminal record check, as some are suggesting in this thread.

Even UK employers can only get criminal records checks for certain roles (eg involving children or elderly people). So I don't see how a US employer could get one.
