wait till you've been in Canada as long as I have, then you'll understand the 'miserably happy' Canadian 'vibrant' lifestyle (with maple syrup), which has to be better than being a senior living in...

You was definitely from a posh family Bristol, there was nowt like that in our house back in the UK - it was simply sugary water mixed with corn starch & if there was any, an added spot of jam

Panatone French toast with maple syrup with a few slices of crispy bacon beats all of the Pancakes, Waffles or Hot Cross buns hands down.:amen:

Panatone on special reduced in the supermarkets...

as I was having my pancakes & bacon for Breakfast today, I was thinking 'how two-faced, rude, arrogant, don't give a $hit, snobs' Brits are that live in the UK

Agree & like a foreigner (even those boring Canadians & Americans) going to the UK, whinging & complaining Britain sucks, lack of service, attitude, the yobs & chavs, cost of things, the weather etc....
