Dave or BIP - can someone like ellie95 partner with an article 10RC + (now in the UK) with the EEA dependant 6 month stamp now apply for & qualify for a UK residence card?

The Brexit vote will likely put an end to the SS route, how quickly, is anyone's guess.

Does the 'Freedom of movement' stop as of next week with the UKBA folks stopping...

you say you are British, your Dad is a non EU citizen, his passport is being held by the Home Office or UKVI? .

Then its not possible (that I am aware of) for you to sponsor your Dad without him...

if its a 'leave the EU' vote outcome, it has to be tossed waffled around in Parliament then go through the house of lords for its blessing... the Queen signs off

although Ireland is close to the UK & they speak English, it seems that it takes twice long as it would have done had someone gone the SS route through Malta

Dave the visa is for Italy (not Malta), but its the same application form that the person needs for Italy

No you DO NOT need to speak the language of the said EU country that you are doing the SS route.

The important factor is 'centre of life' has moved from the UK to the other country.

yes, its doable

In the past 12 months (google search) you will see UK RC have been issued to EU RC holders without the need of the family permit

The requirement under SS is that the sponsor needs to work minimum 12 hours/wk, not the non-EU person.

Doing the SS keep all receipts from wages, rent, utilities etc, this goes towards the proof...
