Me too - it's their turn. Growth is handed out by the EC to member countries in alphabetical order. There's not enough to go round you see :lol:

I think it may well be impossible for any country to ever leave the Euro. France will likely be looking at this if Le Pen gets in but I really do not see how it could be achieved.

I have been watching Greece with Simon Reeve on BBC iPlayer - quite eye-opening. I would say there's not much chance of anything changing in Greece.

If I understand it correctly (and I am still trying to), this is a more sophisticated situation than the Greek one and potentially more divisive as far as the EU is concerned..

Also interesting that Michel Sapin, the French Fin Min and the only remaining ally of Varoufakis opines that V took Greece to the very edge of disaster as a result of his negotiating brinkmanship....

Yes - it would be good to review this once the situation is clearer. It's a shame Portugal can't wait a little longer for its next elections to see how this all pans out. Personally, I'm optimistic...
