re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

During the whole process I have had 3 separate requests for information - 3 Mondays in a row so maybe they only send emails on Mondays?.

1. They wanted confirmation that the sponsor will return...

+1
Clean police report, clean health certificate x 2 because the first expired as the process has taken a year. Fully traceable career, education, and background. Both our careers on shortlist...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Incredibly annoying with their processes, IT in-expertise, and geography believing England, Scotland, Wales, and NI are not part of UK according to their select lists but I'm starting to see a...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Its a strange name to choose - sounds like they do repairs to crashed cars not chest x-rays and the like.

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Re-done my medical today and one of the examiners mentioned how often CIC ignored requests from PP's regarding medicals. They often have to search forums or talk to PP's in other cities to get...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Sounds like you have a long time left on your meds before expiry - I had only weeks which eventually ran out hence the urgency.

I think I've ended up with an advantage in the end, my COPR will...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

I enquired about getting a new medical as I knew it was going to expire very soon but got no answer so left it. My medical then expired and immediately CIC have requested I get a new one. I believe...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

I asked them that and they didn't reply, as you can see in previous posts they now think it is a good idea that I get another medical. I guess now they claim it as their idea not mine. Just be...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Just got a UK PP to check (thought they must have a direct dial to London) and now been cleared to have re-examination in the UK.

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Thanks siouxie.

The medical ran out just after RPRF so it didn't quite make it to COPR actually being issued although it was the next and last step according to CIC's website. It is very specific...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Medical extension has been refused, it ran out before they wrote COPR. It was also refused after we paid RPRF as requested so this is not the last item as it says in the sponsorship pack. We have...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Our daughter in Canada did some complaining yesterday direct to politicians and CIC highlighting our job losses and now non-resident status anywhere in the world after 11 months application stuck in...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Same as me I had a job offer and it was withdrawn as neither employer or I can get any information using case specific email after more than 30 days. We have been waiting 11 months. My wife also...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

I go by the target time of 8 months set by CIC when I submitted my application and it was passed to London 4th September 2012 after Sponsor Approval. Since then London has moved the targeted time I...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Thanks for messages of support.

We can live in Canada on "restrictive" conditions set by CIC so it is not really by choice that we have not come to Canada yet. Should I begin to settle in Canada...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Well they did not answer and the employer got fed up and withdrew the offer knowing they were on strike and unlikely to answer. It was not an LMO I am sponsored by my wife - and an employer offered...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

We both had jobs until CIC/Unions messed it up for us so that rather adds insult to injury justifying their actions. Its rather like saying the victim of theft is ok because he was insured and as...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

I think its unreasonable the amount of posters on here who stick up for those causing delays that have massive impact on our lives.

So far I have lost:

1. My Canadian job offer was withdrawn...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

There are many press releases in the Canadian press that say otherwise - and nobody is coming back to contradict it. The fact there is a large blockage also suggest it is true. My main source of...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

The final approver is Canadian and is a member of PAFSO - that is the main hold up. It is the same for most countries. I found this on one of the many press releases being sent around.

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

@Origin
Some people have medicals extended and some not, that is made quite clear throughout this forum. It would be quite easy for London to answer such a simple question rather than ignore it. I...
