I'm pretty sure the default timezone is PST; but in my experience the intial setup includes timezone confirmation.

I've never had that, unless it was an ex-display model.

You certainly do get the time zone prompt - at least on every computer I've ever installed.

God forbid anyone press F1 to get the Windows help...... and woe be to those who actually read the setup prompts when they install the PC.... :rolleyes:
