Don't get me wrong and everyone is different. It's just that your average person who seeks the sun often expects the sun and brightness after work, bbq, beach etc.. If you have flexible working hours...

Why did you not consider Spain if you want to be closer? I think the big downside in Brisbane is the lack of light in the evenings and that's why it's often an issue for people who move for the so...

But in Brisbane that's nearly the whole year and most working people look forward to their garden after work while it's still bright. When you have normal office hours and even in January it's dark...

Of course and with the equity you have now you'd be crazy to not think about it. Although in Ireland myself now I get your points with rural and it being too much work and I suppose due to remoteness...

I think you'll find that property prices in Australia can be just as crazy and will really depend what part of Australia you are looking at. There are also cheaper parts of NZ, so very hard to...
