You see from a brewers point of view its actually cheaper and easier to make those strong ales
Ales take less time to make than a lager as they need much less conditioning time and so are much...

Nope...... its the consumer research groups that tell you that the primary consumer group wants easy drinking lagers, along with the sales figures

I've had the same at a InterBrau trade festival with an export strength Guinness from Africa running at 7%, amazing beer but I paid dearly for it the next day:o

Export beers were generally higher in alcohol but also they were generally higher in hops, the increase in both is for their preservative qualities.
Now it’s sometimes used to signify just a higher...

Your comparing the selection of Beer in available in London UK with Ontario Canada
And saying ON Canada is better

Don’t know which Tesco’s your going too

but every time I go home my mum’s local Tesco’s and Sainsbury’s have a great selection of ales at least four or five times the Best LCBO over here, it’s not...

I work in a 'Local' Brewery and have worked for Interbrew and Bass in the past

In my world 'Craft Beer' means the brewmaster hasn't a clue about the Biochemistry in his beer, so he has no idea why...

A Pilsner has a stronger hop flavour and higher bitterness than a European lager

They would if I had used Ale and Lager, but most CAMRA members know very little about beer, they just spew retoric

But lager is just a type of beer of which I would say are about 12 different...

Canada needs the immigrants more than the Immigrants need Canada

So its the immigrants terms that count, not the dwindling numbers of 'locals'
