The outlet centres are often over the border..I've run across a few good ones in our travels in the States...

I should have been more specific I was comparing Wales and lower BC whilst i wrote that piece..

The original context refered to a beach on Vancouver Island not the city its self

And you also missed the point I was making...

That you can achive a decent standard of living in Europe too.... If you try..

and I say Europe as its comparable to Canada in diversity and size...

Yes... lived there for 7 years... I know wales very well, I also regularly work in vancouver too...

Both have easy access to great scenery the great oudoors places with no tourists... cheap...

I believe that can be extended to:

wear a mullet with pride, drive an F150, go hunting and tell everbody your an enviromentalist at heart and believe it :D

Got me on that one.. I can only think of a few smaller cases in spain


Local carnival... nice but I'd still recomend the Octoberfest as better

Quality of Life?

I'm of the mind that its self created....

I had a good QOL in the UK and I have an equally good QOL here too

Its all about how you best manage your resources to get the...
