Update to my timeline:

Mailed application: 16th October
Application received: 19th October
Started processing: 19th January
Notice to appear: 8th February
Citizenship test: 8th March...

I passed my citizenship test today. The information sheet we were given stated that we would be invited for our citizenship ceremony in 3 - 5 months.

Yeah, very quick. I was really surprised when I got the email to invite me to take the test - I assumed I'd messed up my application somehow!

I applied immediately after the new rules came into effect. My timeline:

Mailed application: 16th October
Application received: 19th October
Started processing: 19th January
Notice to appear:...
