Re: Lunchtime Choices

Re: Lunchtime Choices

You've made me feel like one now, I love them. Scouse has taken over the cooking for a while as I recover from surgery, I forgot what a good cook he is. He made mushroom risotto yesterday that was...

You're excused this once. Tomorrow please at least eat a sandwich and an apple.

Re: Lunchtime Choices

When you find help, please send it. If the help arrives with a cheeseboard that would be good too.

Re: Lunchtime Choices

I was only kidding you, the worse thing that could happen to a sealed packet of dry powder is it might taste a bit stale. Tell your belly to behave itself, it's perfectly safe.

Re: Lunchtime Choices

Re: Lunchtime Choices

Good lad, the green stuff is excellent for you! :D Your body's bound to be a bit cranky at a radical change of diet, but I promise you it will settle down. In the meantime you can blame any farts...

Re: Lunchtime Choices

I made sandwiches from left over roast beef and salad, they looked really nice until my husband plonked a big spoonful of coleslaw on the top of his. The things that man makes a sandwich out of! ...

Re: Lunchtime Choices

Had to look that word up - I sort of understand the meaning but don't get the relevance to my post. Must be getting old! (ps no need to explain, I'd like to retain what little innocence I have)...

Re: Lunchtime Choices

Rearranged the freezer this morning to fit in some meat, found half a packet of little steak pies that I bought a few months ago for a visitor. Not something we usually eat but since the box...

Re: Lunchtime Choices

My home made pea and ham soup with crusty bread. One of my favourites. I couldn't get smoked ham/bacon hocks in the UK and the unsmoked ones just don't taste the same - well they wouldn't, would they...
