If you are the SRRV you do not even need to surrender your old license just take your Uk license,ACR card and passport along to to the local LTO, hope they know the procedures and you will be fine....

Depending upon what you are driving the mandatory minimum cover you get at the LTO from a franchise is probably enough as the insurance company will probably not pay out anyway. Also even if yu have...

How did you renew your uk Licence?? I was under the impression you had to be resident in Euro land for that. Or have you been away for less than 10 years?

I will renew in October. I understand that the new licenses issued from October will be for 5 years... so it will get delayed again:))

Last time I did the renewal there was no blood test or urine...
