I still get confused as hell over all this.

So If I move to Spain with my wife who is Pinay , we get Spanish family residential card. My wife can then enter the Uk without a visa.

Thanks that is helpful. At this time we have a UkĀ£ bank account in my wife's name. We will add the savings to that account so there will be no currency fluctuations.

No, I invest for myself, it is my income at this time pending pension. oddly the income from investment is way higher than the income threshold for employed income requirements, as is the pension....
