I'm sorry but that is incorrect if you read what is in the first post they state this is a NEW requirement they are requesting everyone bring this to the medical in London...if you don't bring it...

Ah good point, mine is a spouse visa, we are in the UK. The medical is in London.

As it says in the email this is a new requirement and it says that if you don't bring the medical summary to the appointment your medical will go on hold. I got my print out from the drs and it lists...

Just to update the gp surgery just called and they have printed the summary, no charge ready to collect.

Yeah I'm not too sure, I've called my drs and asked for what they have requested as well as sending them an email showing exactly what they have asked for, I'll see what they say but it appears if...

No they do not need your full medical records just a summary.
