The generators can turn off the expensive oil fired power stations and the wind turbines if solar production increases.

I agree what ever the temp, however many rainy days, the Algarve days are longer, sunnier and the light so much better than we experience during a grey ,cold, soggy UK winter.

There are now very strict rules regarding trees being too close to homes , roads etc following major fires and fatalities..
Thousands of trees are being cut down.

Last bootfulls was 15 euros for 100kg of azeinho , hardwood.
Mistura is cheaper.
Our neighbour meeting the new fire prevention rules filled two pickups a day with logs..
I would not be surprised...

Sorry, brain fade, 150 euros tonne dependent on quality.
Paid 90 euros for one load , between 10 andc15 euros for 100kg.
The lower the price the quicker it burns..
Est total purchase for this...

Our only form of heating we use for 90% of the time is a wood burning stove.
Our villa has decent insulation.
We used around 1tonne of decent wood this winter 900euros. November to end April....
