The worst incident in Carvoeiro this year was from a large group of Irish holidaymakers.
Their behaviour was so bad that one of the accommodation managements is considering not renting to the Irish...

Not just Brits, the Portugal News has a story on a drunken Irish stag party flashing at passers by in the centre of Albufeira and coming off worse in a confrontation with locals.

I have flown as recently as this March on long haul flights where the only alcohol service was with meals and limited to 1 drink , with a second only served when the first had been consumed.....

It's not Easyjet or Ryan or Monarch or any airlines fault, some now refuse to serve alcohol on certain flights to certain destinations because of the problems their customers cause.

Easy jet.
Not sure the airline is responsible for the morons who fly on it.
The alcohol they consume before boarding was probably a significant factor.

90% of a flight arriving in Taro last night had their journey sploilt by a few drunken morons, the typical t shirted stag party, so thick they have to have their names printed on their shirts in case...

Nothing to do with PC etc , changes in UK licensing laws ,etc.
We did not have clubs on almost every street corner.
Pubs closed at 10.30 at least 5 days week.

I am here in Carvoeiro, kms from Albufeira, it could be on a different planet.
90% of Albufeira is also on a different planet to the small area affected by those who caused the problems.

The Algarve is not Albufeira, Albufeira is not just the short stretch of road known as the strip.

Collected friends from Faro airport this evening.
Both arriving on separate flights commented on the reports of the problems in Albufeira.
Neither are DM, Sun readers so the news must be spreading.

Having along with others having a quiet drink been peed on by pissed up morons in Albufeira the " specials " will receive no complaint from me when dealing with them in a way that UK police are not...

The Algarve daily news has a detailed report including the expected claim of police over reaction.
No doubt We will see similar anti PT police reports in the UK tabloids.
