My contacts in Portugal, Portuguese ,were forcasting no change as having gone through difficult times and having seen the chaos in Greece the last thing they wanted was anything that would affect...

I would have a look at the financial news, France and Italy trading surplus turning positive, German growth continues even with down turn in the Chinese econmy.
Even the UK is not doing so badly....

The article mentions an interview with one womanvwho went to her local bank to withdraw money and because of the queue turned away.
A bank employee then approached and basically said do it now...
