If there is an error it won'T be a decimal place. 1metre of snow for the whole winter would be far too little.

It is normally less humid and less snowy down by the lake. This winter not so, Cobourg has had huge dumps of snow and suffered badly in the ice storm.

I trained as a radiographer in the UK using feet and inches, then we went metric. I move to Canada and it's all feet and inches again. The equipment comes from the USA so we stay in the dark ages....

Thanks for those. Tapley is the closest it's about 60km away. I had a quick look and the snowfall this winter is 184cm compared to the average for Peterborough of 140cm. I put no store by that figure...
