I use chemicals. They are complex compounds that break down after a few weeks, unlike copper sulfate.
They are not what people refer to as "organic" these days. I have no problem with employing...

Herbicides, yes. But plants are not susceptible to pesticides.
In fact, many GM crops are developed to produce their own organic pesticides, so reducing the amount of spraying required.

I just sprayed my orchard with fungicide and 2 different pesticides [including imidaclopride], then threw 25kg of chemical fertilizer on the orchard + garden, then mixed up 5 liters of a nice strong...

There are no GM crops that make their own herbicide.
Really the issue was / is about the roundup-ready varieties, as the crop will always be sprayed with glyphosate.

As far as I know there are no GMO's permitted here.
Glyphosate is used to kill everything in the fields, then they're plowed and seeded with conventional crops.

I don't buy roundup anymore, now I just pee on any invasive plants I want to get rid of.
