When I want UK deliveries from a vendor who won't deliver here, or charge too much, I have it delivered to Direct Transport in the UK and then collect it at their warehouse in Porshes whenever I'm in...

I got a confirmation email a few days after sending my docs, and the package arrived about 6 weeks after that.
I had to pay the duty and iva at the post office on picking it up.

I received my long awaited tool from Singapore today; this was a CTT delivery.
I had to pay the customs and IVA at the post office upon pickup.
Total cost was E75, which is still ok for this item....

I also sent the requested documents by email, but a few days later I got a confirmation reply from CTT saying they'd passed it on to customs.

I'm now using GPS coordinates in my address; they have the gizmos in the vans but I don't know if the drivers are clever enough to use them.

I've had mixed results; sometimes they get to my door, sometimes not. Frankly, it's a hassle either way.
