Interesting, in Vancouver I would definitely have said the opposite. But Vancouerites are weird fitness freaks though.

I think that hockey being a) more agressive in nature and b) more popular leads to the lack of aggression seen on the soccer fields.

Canadians are generally more friendly and far less aggressive.

I always use football/soccer as a good example. The only time I ever had an issue playing football, with people taking things too...
