I think it should be like this. They should not hold our original passport for ...let say ... 1-2 months. But on the website, it is written "must be original passport":(

Why do you have concern about IPENZ assessment?

Isn't your degree assessed by NZQA, in case it is not on LQEA?

I guess for SFV, work experience letter is not needed unless your qualification is below than level 7 (trade qualification), isn't it? :confused:

As far as I understand, most applicants do not get contacted by the case officer.
Did you get contacted, Maryam? I mean before he approved your visa and after he got your document. :)

I read from this thread, if you send them your original documents, they will return it back to you along with your passport.

But if you send them the certified copy, will they return it back to...

I am sorry to hear it.
But I don't fully understand, why you need to be registered with NZ registration body? Because your university degree is not recognized by NZQA?

Those are your properties, right? Why they take it?

Did you submit the medical reports in sealed condition...

OR they will just take the original documents, make copies of it, and return it back to you?

I would like to keep the original passport with me, since the CO won't let you know when exactly the visa will be approved. If they need 1 month or more, then they need to keep it for more than 1...

But I am still wondering, if one is working in ICT industry which is listed in long-term skill shortage, i.e. immigration will not do the market test....
