Yes, but I think the point is, she wants A birth certificate now. Yesterday in fact. It looks like the BC is going to end up amended anyway.

She is saying the birth certificates for unmarried parents are processed at a 'slow' office.
They need the BC to get to the passport stage.

Yay, result!

Do you have all the instructions for doing the same-day passport? We did this because of some upcoming travel, altho we went to the Seattle office.
I think it is by appointment...
