Lovely 31 degrees expected today in Surfers Paradise. :) Another day of eating outside and hitting the beach and pool.

Temps seem quite stable here, which is a lot different from what I often see...

Arrived a tad late so mum and the kids went to see that Chipmunks film whereas my plan to simultaneously go see Star Wars didn't work out. Then again it looks like I might get another chance...

What lousy weather today, ended up going to the movies for the first time since landing in the Gold Coast. One more day of crap weather apparently coming up but after that it's a true Aussie Summer...

Getting a bit of rain here too, but just light showers and mainly at night with only the occasional sprinkle during the day here and there.

Should be sunny from Thursday onwards so just a few more...

Missing Queensland already. Weather here in Sydney was absolutely atrocious today once the rain kicked in and just kept drizzling down with the consistency of a top football striker...

Surfers Paradise is 31C right now.

Head south 1000km into Sydney and it's 37C over there. :)

Yesterday was nice and hot (27C) - went to Movie World and when cloud cover eventually came in the late afternoon it was much appreciated. And as you mentioned, the evening was wonderful as well.

19C today which is chilly by QLD standards. Not exactly an outdoors day, though the spirit was lifted somewhat when the iPhone showed Melbourne at 10C. Suddenly 19C didn't seem all that bad... :)

Supposed to be 28C and sunny in Surfers tomorrow - should hit the 30 mark in Brisbane. Bout time!

Supposed to be really crappy in Sydney, and super-crappy in Melbourne over the next few days. ;)

We only got a short drizzle over in Surfers that might have turned into a small shower for several minutes at most.

Made me reverse today's walk between Surfers and Broadbeach by taking the tram...

Then again isn't Perth luckier than the rest with regards to water (sea) temperatures relative to the climate?
