Indeed, mea culpa. Emails being saved as drafts suggest that's a problem at his or her end rather than with the Home Office. I would suggest sending a letter by whatever method they are asking...

They can't insert a vignette into an expired passport. Once they've made a decision on your application they'll contact you to replace your passport.

They have no obligation to you whatsoever. Emigrating to a country other than your own is a privilege, not a right. No-one is forcing you to move to the UK so drop the sense of entitlement.

The UK charges you at least three times before you can gain Indefinite Leave to Remain.

You will get a decision. How long it will take is often dependent on factors outside the Home Office’s control.

It’s a statement of fact, not opinion. High risk circumstances lead to lengthier processing times. Me saying “Boo, hiss, evil Home Office” would be both disingenuous and unhelpful.

Of course. If your circumstances mean you are a higher risk then you will be assessed accordingly which usually means it will take longer to process your application.

The long waits are frustrating but not arbitrary. If you’re waiting more than six months then it’s your circumstances that are to blame, not the Home Office.

You cannot use an Academic IELTS test to meet the English language requirement. You’ll need to take the appropriate test and reapply.

Not externally available as far as I'm aware, but those countries that will are on the list will be pretty obvious.

If can complain but the Home Office is under no obligation to give you a visa. If you are applying from a high risk country or you or your sponsor has a poor immigration history then you can expect...

Some will be checks on which they will be relying on third parties. Other times it will just be because they have too many applications and not enough staff.

It's nothing to worry about. Depending on how and where you applied from you may not hear anything until a decision is made.
