It's worth doing to future-proof evidence of his British citizenship but it's not necessary for a spouse visa application if he holds a valid British passport.

Good, that can be the biggest stumbling block. What about your fiancée's daughter - does she have legal permission to remove her from the Philippines?

The Philippines does not permit divorce - you mention she was previously married. Was she able to obtain an annulment or did her husband divorce her in a foreign court?
