Same principle for spouses of British citizens (90 days per year on average, no more than 90 days in the last 12 months) but only the previous three years are taken into consideration.

It’s unlikely to affect her application for FLR but it’ll probably prevent her from applying for ILR after five years and so she’ll need to apply for FLR again.

You also wouldn’t be in the UK to renew your visa this time next year. It wouldn’t be advisable to take the job therefore if you wish to gain ILR in the same timeframe as your husband.
