As said above, French banks have totally different lending criteria. AFAIK the concept of a credit score doesn't exist over here at all - certainly it is nothing like the UK...

It sounds as if you're in the UK but you are asking about a mortgate with a French bank and this might be difficult. French banks would want to see proof of secure employment in France, or several...
