It should be emphasized that RRSPs (including QROPS held in an RRSP) still benefit from the personal tax allowance. Revenue Canada tell me:

1) If you decide to move your pension to a QROPS in Canada, then be aware of how you will be taxed. Your QROPS will be held in an RRSP, whereupon withdrawals are taxed at these rates:

A chap at the Consumers’ Association suggested Blevins Frank (also recommended by the Daily Telegraph) and Siddalls (the fellow there told me not to go for QROPS as it was 99%...

I know what I want from a QROPS (ask for my Due Diligence list if you are interested), but I don't know which institution...
