We have 3 Immigration Detention Centres located in Toronto, Laval and Vancouver with a total capacity of less than 700 spaces. In 2015-2016 there were just under 7000 detained throughout the year....

Pfft pocket change compared to this guy suing for 57.5 million albeit from 2 governments i.e Federal and Ontario govt

Stateless immigrant jailed for seven years while Canada tried to deport him...
