When do you intend to return to Canada? If its in the near future then perhaps a PRTD might be easier than waiting for a PR card they may or may not show up.
Since the eTA rules came into force this...

Welcome to Canada :lol: Now to be fair at least they didnt make you travel perhaps a few fair kilometres to an office to pick it up and sign for it.

Without the PR card you will need a PRTD to fly to Canada a stamped COPR form won't work with the airline.

Who knows IRCC do strange things and GCMS is their system not CBSA's though we use it.

eTA's usually cancelled once landing has been transmitted via GCMS.
