Hi yes his interview was 22/09/17 and got email before Christmas. Passport was back end of last week. We have waited 26 weeks previously to get the email so not bad at all.

If you had a medical last time maybe you didn't need another one. Sometimes you get referred for a medical within a certain time frame so perhaps 5 years is long enough to not warrant a medical. The...

Five years is not bad we may get two visits out of that. I doubt we could afford two visits on this one. Even saving one trip to the embassy will be a bonus!! Have you had your second waiver yet?

Got email today to send passport for visa issuance, 19 weeks since appointment. Will post back to let you all know duration of visa Etc when we have it back.

It's second, the paper he was given States six month wait so would be surprised at anything less. We waited 25 weeks in 2011/12. I wonder if they will change the duration, not that it matters we...

Secondary processing was not as bad as we were thinking it could be, nearly gave my mum a heart attack though as I forgot to mention it would happen and she just saw us being led away by the officer!

Apparently if you leave on a commercial flight they automatically know you left the US but for the sake of a stamp and proof of postage I would send it off, after everything we have been through to...

I doubt it will be any sooner than 25 weeks, the embassy has advised further delays due to the extra work over the Olympics.

On the website it advises not to book prior to receiving confirmation, I doubt they will be any quicker than 25 weeks, the website is informing people that they will be very busy over the summer...

It could potentially be earlier but probably won't be we were told 14 to 16 weeks and it took 25, they will not respond to any email or give you a reference until you have at least waited the length...
