I actually like the color it is. Maybe slightly lighter, almost grey would look good and with accessory trim more of a dark grey.

The first picture was a fluke really. I was trying to help move all the fallen "nests" away from the trees so we could burn them. It was hard to see in the bright light so i just kept clicking...

Do it! That's how we have been doing all our outside projects over the last few weeks. We are lucky that our local Hardware store is family owned and we know them so it makes it easier in some ways.

This weekends "let's have a lazy 2 days at home" plan has developed into turning the spare bedroom closet into a book nook with a hidden storage area.

If you are unlucky enough to have crazy ants then nothing out there seems to kill them.

We sometimes just smother them with Baby Powder. It works for a while unless it rains!

My answer to that problem is find him a hobby that he becomes obsessed with and the only gardening chore he then has time for is mowing. Worked for me;)
