I have my visa!! :eek: Got an email today from INZ, London telling me that my visa was approved and asking to confirm the return address for my passport.

INZ had asked me to get my passport renewed, and to get my Police Clearance Certificate attested by the MEA (Ministry of External Affairs).
Just DHL-ed these two to them y'day. Got an Out-Of-Office...

Heard back from INZ London y'day. The CO said they can't issue a visa on my passport because it expires July'12. He has asked me to send them a new passport or get the current one back and send it...

I appreciate the policy to keep excessive free text out of the forums but as a newbie I don't think I fully understand.
How much of text speak is excessive?
Also, I see in BEVS reply she uses "txt"...

Very happy to note that a notification from DHL earlier today told me that my docs had been delivered to the INZ London branch.:)

Thank you for that info arsalan. So I just notarise copies of my degree certificates, and the like, and any notary will do. I was hoping I didn't have to go through the Apostille process!

This question is probably more for my Indian friends. I just my Police Clearance Certificate this Friday and now need to get my documents certified.
Can I get that done from any notary? or do I need...
