The USC Spouse does NOT have her own policy. She is young enough and still in college and listed under mom and dad's healthcare policy and therefore she cannot add a spouse.

As others stated, no on the travel insurance. You are not a traveler and this is not a visit. Call the insurance company and ask them and be truthful about your planned immigration and that you are...
