You are filing both forms together. You don't have to worry about a receipt.

Go for multiple trips and the A/P should be issued good for one year from date of issuance. Just put in visits with family dates undetermined. And it would be d. apply for .... and if it asks for...

I concur with Rene. It has always been my practice to treat each petition/application as a separate entity. I would attach the required document to each one and then place the entire package...

It is an old requirement. Jim's was used for the manufacture of his green card but that was in 2000 before such a thing as biometrics.

Actually I would apply for an EAD for the girls because:

a. They will need it if they wish to get driver's licenses;

b. It will enable them to obtain a social security card before AOS...
