It's just getting all of the documentation together and forms filled out. its not as simple as just sitting down and getting everything done in a weekend.

Thanks for the quick reply, in that case and without taking any risks it just makes more sense for me to apply in-Canada as after the first stage ill have a work permit and would be able to stay and...

But why is it still taking 9-10 months for some?

I've always heard it takes no longer than 6 months!!?
