I'm a bit shocked by this.

Plumbing is a trade.

My husband did a 4 year UK C&G apprenticeship plus another year to get a craftsman standard. He is a fully qualified plumber and gasfitter.

To meet the requirements for New Zealand you would need NVQ3 / C&G3 or higher, plus proof of training and on the job experience. It needs to be seen as equivalent to the NZ national certificate. Most...
