I would agree that Naperville would be too far, although it is a nice area.
Glen Ellyn and Wheaton are great areas - good schools, park districts and you can definately get to Ohare in 45 mins...

If you are looking at areas - I would suggest also looking at Naperville. It has a great downtown area, is on the main rail line into the city, has great schools and a very good private college. ...
