Good point IVV and knowledge the OP should have 'up his sleeve' when listening to the Director's offer.
If the Company has a registered office in Malaysia I'm sure they wouldn't want the legal...

Seems to me a written offer, once accepted, is a contract.
Change positions...say you accepted the offer and then found a better deal and reneged... I'm sure they would make your life miserable....
