Yard sale** season has properly arrived! On a boring or wet weekend, a fun thing to do can be to take the kids around to some of these sales to see if they can wisely spend some saved-up pence....

Difficult to choose! But I finally did, & just printed out my free ticket to a nearby museum I've been interested in (but unwilling to pay the entry fee for)....

Yard Sales!! Also known here as Garage Sales, Tag Sales, Estate Sales, etc.

As the weekend approaches, keep an eye on your local newspaper or Craig's List online. Some of these sales are better...

If there's a national park near you, there are free entry days scheduled every couple of months through the year. The next one is the weekend of 19th-20th April.
