That's the difference between a cynical UK mindset and a mindlessly trusting of authority Canadian one;)

To be fair, I've had my regular lawyer here refer me on to another person when my enquiry...

I think people assume that as a licensed professional a lawyer has been deemed to meet certain professional standards of knowledge AND behaviour, and that if they dont feel able to do a case justice...
