They introduced speed regulators on trucks here in Ontario I think?, and it had EXACTLY the same predictable effects that it did when they were introduced in the UK.

The 401 near me is only 4...

Chatham / Kent area has a reputation for doing this. I strongly suspect its a revenue generation exercise more than anything to do with road safety.

Either way, stick to the right unless you are overtaking something, then people dont have to manouver around you if they are in a hurry. Its not a black and white world.

I really have no problem with the drivers around me... They may tailgate occasionally, but no worse than in the UK and at slower speeds.
