On a related note I was recently disappointed to read the Seaman Staines never actually existed on Captain Pugwash. :( Childhood memories crushed and all that.

Poutine...dont knock it till youve tried it I say. Theres good and bad out there though.

A certain amount of blubber might soften the impact of the coming winter.

Of course, my doctor didnt agree:( I've gained over 20lbs since coming here...thats not to say I might not have gained...

Are they still manufacturing in Canada? The plant in Batawa (down the road from me) shut several years ago now, all that remains is a small distribution facility for outsourced products in Trenton. ...

To be fair most of that dollar value is auto parts heading for assembly south of the border, so it really is manufacturing. But yes, if health care cost ever got that high some Ontario plants would...

Canadas largest industry is Automotive I think...at least in Ontario. Natural resources are very important to the overall economy though.
