That is a very good point. From memory the company car option in the UK was no where as near opportunistic and profitable as the work related write offs are in Australia.

Likewise here (yet in Sydney). We could do away with a car. I did the calcs once and it works out cheaper per year if your car use is weekend only and your hire.
