Ha ha ha. Dave Cameron made a very similar statement in his election speech. Tony Abbott has tried to implement it but has the communication skills of a flee.

I got called a convict, a thief, a criminal at some hick pub in West Sussex by a bunch of odd hillbilly farmers last night ......... that's OK, it was such a poor attempt its almost laughable.

I get called English when in Oz and Australian when in the UK. Joys of being a ping pommer. I get more grief in the UK as an Australian than I do in Australia for being English.

Regarding the flight, do it 30 times and you get used to it. It takes about 30 goes at it though :)

Don't let the poetry of it all get in the way of practicality. Bit like people from the UK moving to Oz to get the sun and the beach. At the end of the day, we need to make money in order to live....
