I can’t see why Canada would be interested in seeing your PR card as you leave? Obviously required to travel back. I’ve been a citizen for a while but I’m sure I didn’t have to show it to travel out...

I’m sure I read that they will know if you’re outside Canada - the website gives directions as to what to do if you are out of Canada at the time of your scheduled ceremony.
