Identical situation here. There is nothing for me to miss. The last 30+ years were filled with "emptiness". Sunshine . . . yes, I will miss that but as you say it's a small price to pay . . .

I know for a fact I could jump on a plane tomorrow and miss absolutely nothing. In fact, I would go so far as to say I would even look back in absolute amazement to think I spent so many years here....
