Regarding your query, I'm not 100% but with the spousal sponsorship I don't think that you as the sponsor has to be with your hubby when he lands. I'm sure many people here on BE...

Thanks tsc, yeah it's a great feeling that's for sure! Got my social insurance number sorted last Monday too and have been working all week...again, it's a fab feeling to be earning after not working...

Well the landing went great, although it was pretty busy at the border crossing and took us around 20 mins to actually get to the passport control booth.

The only original certificate you should send in with your application is the Police Certificate.
Do not send in original copies of marriage certificates, photos, cards etc, you only...

I got my passport back complete with visa and COPR paperwork on Thursday, absolutely no mention of it being a 'conditional visa'.

I had heard about this proposal a little while...

Haha.....i know what you mean! Just send the closest size to an A4, thats what I did. And I sent mine off via Canada Post Registered mail. Cost me $18 but that was much more bearable than the $70 ish...
